Mastercopy has looked after businesses nationwide for 37+years — from Thornaby, on the same phone number. We started in managed print, grew into managed IT, and along the way started building the software our clients couldn’t buy off a shelf.
That software became products. The products became a platform. And the platform became Mastercopy Studios — the development arm, building bespoke systems, AI assistants, integrations and websites for firms across the UK.
The print heritage isn’t a nostalgia act; it’s the method. A press run has no undo, so you proof properly and sign off before committing — and a machine down at 8am gets answered by a person, not a ticket queue. We build and support software exactly the same way.
We’re not a body shop and we’re not an agency that disappears after launch. Everything we ship, we can host, monitor and stand behind — because the odds are we’ll still be here in another 37 years, and we’d like the software to be too.
